John Sviokla hails from Boston, Massachusetts, home of the World Championship 2007 Boston Red Sox.  His native representative is the honorable Barney Frank, and his favorite Massachusetts Senator is Theodore Kennedy.  John is an an accomplished writer, performer, director and waiter.  He has been involved with various incarnations of innumerable groups in Chicago and Boston, including "Cornered By Squirrels" a Loyola based improv and sketch troupe which was loved by audiences, lauded by critics, and litigated in 2004 for slander by Jesse Jackson and The Rainbow Coalition, after an all-white performance of Raisin in The Sun.  As it turns out, the Reverend has considerably strong objections to the theatrical use of color blind casting.  John is Currently directing gerta, for the Second City's director Program, which opens June 27th at 10:30 in Donny's Skybox at the Second City, and closes August 1st.  John loves his bike, Ted Williams, and Lizzie.
