Brighter Side
Sunday, July 12th, 2009When I was a young boy about the age of seven, I bought an ice cream cone after hours of asking for my mom for the money. Money is a bit tight that time and aside from my school allowance, asking for extra money can be really difficult. I was delighted with my ice cream cone that I did not notice a big stone on my way, I slipped and the ice cream fell in the ground. I was about to cry when a lady asked me to take off my shoes and step on the ice cream. I did what she said and I felt a tingling cold sensation in my sole and in my toes. Then the lady told me that I am lucky because I am the only child in the whole neighborhood that experienced such luxury of having an ice cream in between my toes.
